I’m pleased to report that my latest film is now available for distribution. It’s based on several trips to the Nullarbor, mostly “roughing it”, to get close to the landscape and its spiritual presence.
On my latest trip, I had a relocation van and did most of the filming off the beaten track, using a tripod in lieu of a film crew! It was a good test of my new Sony HD equipment, which I bought especially for the trip, and I was pleased with the results. I sought out locales from the song cycle for filming and still imagery and recorded much of the text on site. While much of the ambient sound was edited out, there were instances where I felt it added to the reading. In other instances, studio recordings had to be superimposed.
The sound scapes and special effects were courtesy of Apple Loops.
I hope lots of you will be curious enough about it to order it in. At a mere $20, it has to be a bargain, right?
